Mansfield Park launched onto the music scene with their debut release “Seven” which grabbed the attention of music reps throughout the industry by selling over 5000 units at concerts and out of the trunk of their vehicles. Mansfield Park proceeded to land a deal with Revolution Music and, with their guidance; Mansfield Park has been developed into their true form, “Detroit Driven Grunge” was born.
Mansfield Park members were unsure of the new sound, which led the brothers of Mansfield Park PaulE (Drummer) and Kenny (Guitarist) to take drastic measures and move forward, that’s when Bob Libres (Singer) stepped in to rewrite the lyrical content and melody lines of the songs within ten days; pleasing both the founders of Revolution Music and Mansfield Park. The lyrics for the 5 song “EP” Prelude were then recorded.
Mansfield Park now with strong singer Bob Libres (Singer & formally of California) then relocated to Michigan because he knew the sound and chemistry was there. Mansfield Park continued to write new music and they knew it was time to search for a bass player with a true backbone behind him, that is where Chad Campbell (bass) moved in to fill that spot and the “EP” Prelude was then released.
Mansfield Park followed up their EP Release with an independent tour which took them through the mid west & east coast selling numerous amounts of merchandise, sharing the stage with numerous national acts such as; Trapt, Saving Abel, Bobaflex, Primer 55, Halestorm, Red, Atom Smash, LA Guns, Trouble, White Lion, The Bullet Boys, Pop Evil, Raven, Fashion Bomb, The Murderdolls, 12 Stones, A New Revolution and many others.
Mansfield Park has just finished up recording at Metro 37 Studios with Producer Matt Dalton (I See Stars, We Came As Romans, See You Next Tuesday, Chiodos fame) behind the board and to follow up their EP Release Prelude with their debut full length album titled, “Divided We Stand” on January 29th at The Token Lounge in Westland.
Mansfield Park is ready for the world; the question is, is the world ready for them?
