With the Woodward Dream Cruise attracting over 1.5 million individuals from around the world to experience different events in Southeastern Michigan on this particular weekend alone - many of these individuals spending varying amounts of time in appreciation of the automobiles cruising Woodward (just a few blocks from the Pontiac Silverdome). Organizers of the event feel this will be an ideal stop with the exhibition of an array of motors on display all day.
There will also be the Detroit Rises Showcase, a 3-dimensional musical, visual and physical platform engineered by Groove Box Studios, featuring The Detroit Circus. "Groovebox Studios is a new concept-recording studio and promotional company for independent musicians," says Shawn Neil of Groovebox Studios. "We build 3-dimensional content that's tailor-made for the social media networks that have become independent artists' primary - often only - source of visibility and communication with their fans."
"Groovebox Studios was honored and humbled when we were asked to create the Detroit Rises attraction at the Music and Motors Experience," Neil stated. "As a member of Detroit's exciting new music, technology and entrepreneur community, we are extremely excited to begin the task of assembling some of Detroit's finest and passionate young companies, musicians, artists and innovators into a grand showcase of the talent and innovation that is rapidly defining our city's bright new future."
"Detroit Rises features music from up-and-coming bands like IAMDYNAMITE, Bear Lake, Dutch Pink and Brae - amongst others as well as high-flying performances from The Detroit Circus," says Neil. "Plus, our two performance stages are surrounded by the Detroit Rises Village, which features exhibitions from Detroit's bright young innovative companies, artists, designers and entrepreneurs."
