Farmington Hills, Michigan – Psychopathic Records’ always evolving duo, Twiztid, is going to be releasing its much anticipated album, Heartbroken & Homicidal, on September 21, 2010. With Heartbroken & Homicidal, Twiztid’s eighth full length album, group member Monoxide and Jaime Madrox decided to finally tackle heartbreak.  But the album’s storyline isn’t traditional in dealing with the common experiences that a heartbroken individual goes through.  Twiztid stays consistent with its signature horror film themes and serial killer anthems, exploring the darkest feelings, prima urges and unspeakable, insane reactions that may result from the grave loss of one who has been heartbroken.

 

Like most of Psychopathic Records’ albums, Heartbroken & Homicidal is packaged with a little something extra for the fans whom spend their hard earned money.  To further understand the manic thought of Twiztid, listeners get a mysterious booklet, decipherable only by a black light. There is even a special pencil included, for jotting down one’s own secrets in the eerie booklet.  The upbeat hip-hop and rock tracks of Heartbroken & Homicidal include live drums by Stephanie Eulinberg of Kid Rock’s Twisted Brown Trucker band.  Twiztid can take credit for writing and producing the whole album.  And in support of Heartbroken & Homicidal, Twiztid will be embarking on a fall/winter tour; confirmed dates will become available in the very near future.
