Simply Sick on "The Next Great American Band"
Well, everyone is finally figuring out what we’ve known all along, Detroit IS Rock City Baby! Not only has Detroit’s very own The Muggs been chosen as a top ten finalist in Fox’s new reality TV show, The Next Great American Band, Dr2 has learned that Simply Sick, also from Detroit, will be on the show. That’s Right! They may not be finalists, but Dr2 hears they’ll get some air time on the series premier this Friday night. The Muggs are quite well known around Detroit, but it is Simply Sick who really pulls off the coup here. For those of you who unaware of this band featuring 14 year old guitarist Jacob "Snakedawg" Burdock, they are a dynamic metal group who recently opened up for Critical Bill down in Ohio. These guys have become the online kings as it comes to getting their music out, with fans all across the country. Check it out Friday Night @ 8 pm on FOX 2.
