89X I'm With The Band 2.0 Week 3 Results

Round 3 of the  89X I’m With The Band 2.0 $10,000 Battle of the Bands Contest presented by TNT’s is now complete. The on-line voting phase started off a close race and had a couple of lead changes early on in the week before Arazi pulled ahead of Category 5 to capture phase 1 of this huge contest, followed by Mound Road Engine & Quixotic. So with 1/3 of the needed votes in Arazi’s pocket, it was off to TNT’s for a night of live performances and a contest to see who will draw the most fans. Awful close call again, but with that many Arazi shirts in the house, it should come as no surprise that they took phase 2 of the contest also. With the contest now squarely in their corner, Arazi & their fans put out one tremendous effort up on the stage to win the Judges vote and nabbed a sweep for the night! Arazi will not be heading into Metro Recorders Studio to complete a single for the upcoming 89X compilation album that is due out later this year. The win also moves them into the Semi-Finals in May and a chance at scoring the Big Prize of $10,000 & A 5-song EP! Remember week 4 voting starts Today at 12 Noon with Tiny Lightning, Dharma Initiative, Nine 8 Stall going head to head in the online voting that will last till next Thursday 1/31/09 @ 12 Noon.
