Derek St Holmes To Join Nugent @ DTE Sept 1st.

In a rare appearance, former lead singer for Ted Nugent, homegrown boy (Riverview, MI) Derek St. Holmes will be joining Ted Nugent this Saturday for The Nuge's "Homecoming" show. The lead vocalist on many of Nugent's early hits such as "Hey Baby", "Just What The Doctor Ordered", & "Strangle Hold", St. Holmes will be rockin with The Nuge once again as they storm the DTE Energy Theater for Nugent's final show of his summer tour. Nugent's new CD, "Love Grenade" drops 3 days later on Sept 4th. which includes a new version of his "Amboy Dukes" classic, "Journey To The Center Of Your Mind". Expect Nugent to hit upon his glory hits of years past, while throwing in 4-5 of these new songs including "Love Grenade", "Bridge Over Troubled Daughters", and "Girl Scout Cookies". After this show, Nugent has said he will entrap himself in his Fall Hunting Ritual, bypassing any continued support for the new album until late 2007 or early 2008. The Local Rock Band, Paper Street Saints, will be opening the show for Nugent as they where hand selected by The Nuge himself, after finishing in the top 3 of a recent Wrif Radio contest.
