Local Detroit bands step up to help “Take a BYTE Out of Cancer”

 

On Sunday, May 18th, 2014, local Detroit bands Rock Academy, Maria Wade with Redemption Road, Chit, Cadre and FunHouse are playing a benefit show at Pub 1281 in Clinton Township in support of local Relay For Life team “Take a BYTE Out of Cancer.“

This all-ages show is from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m.; admission is $10 and includes a spaghetti dinner.

The team’s goal is to raise $7,500 for the American Cancer Society in order to support efforts for finding better treatments for those suffering from cancer. This year the team is committed to offering hope and support to their fellow team member, Maria, who is currently battling cancer.
