Michigan will add yet another name to its ever growing list of inductees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame when The Stooges are inducted themselves March 15th during the 25th Induction Ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. After 8 previous nominations, The Stooges deservedly get the nod this ninth time, joining fellow inductees Genesis, The Hollies, Jimmy Cliff, & ABBA. Michigan's growing list includes the likes of Bob Seger, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Jackie Wilson, the Supremes, the Temptations, Stevie Wonder, the Four Tops, Gladys Knight & The Pips, John Lee Hooker, Wilson Pickett, Martha & The Vandellas, Parliament-Funkadelic, Glenn Frey, Berry Gordy, Patti Smith, and Detroit-native Bill Haley, and this is only a "partial" list, amazing isn't it?
