Ty Stone and The Truth to Headline the Second Annual “Thanksgiving Rockin’ Eve” at Detroit’s St. Andrews Hall on Wednesday, November 24

Atlantic Recording Artist to Perform in Anticipation of National Release of His Single “American Style”

There is a new Thanksgiving Eve tradition in town, and its name is “Ty Stone’s Thanksgiving Rockin’ Eve” – a hometown reunion/rock and roll extravaganza featuring Atlantic recording artist and Kid Rock protégé Ty Stone celebrating the holiday along with some of his closest friends and fans. This event features live performances by Ty Stone and his band The Truth, along with sets by acclaimed singer/songwriter Doop & The Inside Outlaws, 2010 Detroit Music Awards “People’s Choice” winners Robots In The Garden, funk-soul rockers The Infatuations, Matt Dmits, and The Cases on Wednesday, November 24 at Detroit’s St. Andrew’s Hall. Advance tickets are $12 and are now available at Neptix.com or at the St, Andrew’s Hall box office. Tickets will also be available at the door for $15. Doors are at 8 pm and ages 18 and over are welcome to attend.

This Thanksgiving finds Ty Stone with much to be thankful for. Laying the groundwork for the national release of his single, “American Style”, Ty has spent the greater portion of this year on the road, touring with southern rock band Rehab, and with Atlantic Records label mate Uncle Kracker. The hard work has been paying off with “American Style” currently featured every Saturday on ESPN’s College Football broadcasts. Ty is happy to be home from his extensive touring schedule to perform for a hometown crowd. “I’m so excited to be carrying on the tradition of Thanksgiving Rockin’ Eve at St. Andrew’s Hall, especially on the eve of the national release of my single, “American Style”, says Stone. “There’s no town I’d rather rock in than Detroit, and no one I’d rather celebrate with than my hometown fans, friends, and family!”

WRIF, Detroit’s number one active rock station, is currently featuring Ty Stone’s songs “DownRiver” and “Line of Blood”, and will be the official radio partner for the show. WRIF will be on site with a promo crew and a DJ to announce the show, and will also feature on-air ticket giveaways.
