Atlantic Recording Artist Ty Stone and WRIF to host Exclusive Hoedown After Party at St Andrews Hall

Ty Stone debuts new music from forthcoming Atlantic Release at May 15 Concert

On the brink of releasing his much anticipated Kid Rock-produced full-length record on Top Dog/Atlantic Records, Ty Stone will headline an exclusive Hoedown After-Party at St Andrews Hall on Saturday May 15, 2010.  The concert features live performances by Ty Stone and his band The Truth, along with sets by Americana-garage rockers Grayling (featuring The Truth bassist Greg Beyer), 2010 Detroit Music Awards People's Choice winners Robots in the Garden, self-proclaimed "party band" soul/funk with a rock twist group The Infatuations, and rock band Highwater.  Tickets are $10 and now available at the St Andrews box office (431 East Congress -Detroit, MI 48226, Ph: 313- 961-6358) and also at the door on the night of the show.  Doors are at 8 p.m. and ages 21 and over are welcome to attend.  WRIF will also be on hand, along with Zodiac Vodka, offering cool giveaways and drink specials.

The Hoedown After-Party comes on the heels of Ty Stone's song "Line of Blood" currently receiving heavy airplay on WRIF.  "I'm extremely excited that WRIF has decided to add "Line of Blood" to their playlist with the release of the Boondock Saints II soundtrack. It still blows my mind every time I hear my song on the radio and I can't wait to play it live for everyone who's been supporting me and calling and requesting it. The Truth is determined to show everyone that they belong on the radio and don't plan on going anywhere!" says Stone of his recent top-10 notch on WRIF's playlist.

At the St. Andrew's Hall show, fans can expect Stone to debut new songs from his forthcoming Atlantic records release.  "It was such a great experience to work with such world class musicians such as Audley Freed from the Black Crows and Robert Kearns front Lynyrd Skynyrd.  I can't wait for everyone to hear it, and I'm so proud of everyone involved", explains Stone.  Executive Produced by Kid Rock, the new disc features recordings with producers Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock), John Fields (Pink, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers), Brian Irwin and Marlon Young.  "It's gonna be hot!" enthuses Ty.

Don't miss the Hoedown After-Party of the Year with Ty Stone and The Truth on Saturday May 15 at Detroit's St. Andrew's Hall!
