89x Presents One Man's Opinion at The Shelter

Windsor, Ontario alternative rock upstarts One Man's Opinion celebrate the release of their debut self-titled CD on Saturday, May 31 at The Shelter (431 E. Congress, Detroit, Ph: 313-961-MELT).  This 89x presented show also features live performances by Detroit rock favorites Rotation and Windsor power popsters Stereo Goes Stellar.  Doors are at 8:00 p.m., tickets are $8.90 and are available at the door or in advance at ticketmaster.com.  This is an all-ages show.

In their short time together One Man's Opinion has already made a huge impact on the regional music scene. The band's undeniably catchy first single Crawl Into Bed with Me has currently received almost 1000 spins on 89x, a remarkable feat for an unsigned band.  Across the pond, Crawl Into Bed With Me landed on London's 96FM “Out of the Box” Hall of Fame after 10 consecutive on-air victories.  No one hit wonders, One Man's Opinion second single Without Eyes has consistently cracked 89x's Top 9 at 9 -a nightly show reflecting listeners' most requested songs.

Having shared stages with fellow Canadian hit-makers Finger Eleven, along with indie darlings Hot Hot Heat, Saving Able and Sick Puppies, One Man's Opinion are looking forward to headlining The Shelter in honor of their CD's release. “It signifies a huge stepping stone for us”, says lead signer Josh Braiden, who anticipates “a sweaty and intense evening of rock.
