Fall Metal Fest III : Showcases Metro Detroit's Top Metal and Hard Rock Acts

3rd Annual Music Event Hits Mt. Clemens on November 19, 2011

Fall Metal FestMt. Clemens, MI - Deluxxe Entertainment hosts the 3rd Annual Fall Metal Fest on Saturday November 19 at the Emerald Theatre in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.  Fall Metal Fest III showcases some of Detroit's hardest hitting metal and hard rock bands including Execrate, Sordid Circle, Ictus, Redfield Burning, Mound Road Engine, Hell Rides North, and headlining the evening - Chaos Theory. Doors are at 7 p.m., tickets are $10 and available at the door, and all ages are welcome to attend. Advance discount tickets can also be purchased from any of the bands, Deluxxe Entertainment or at select local stores including: Noir Leather in Royal Oak, Showtime Clothing in Detroit or The Road Show in Roseville.

In addition to the fist pounding rock, a variety of cool Michigan-based companies that support the local metal and hard rock scene will be on hand spotlighting their brands including Hard Luck Candy Vodka, tattoo artist apparel specialists InkAddict , award winning ink masters Lucky Monkey Tattoo, specialty t-shirt designers Empire Seven, Detroit based online radio show masters TapDetroit.com, local rock influenced clothing supplier Trinity Fashions and band and company promotional model site Backstage Betties.

"This year's event is a full-blown showcase of Michigan talent and companies. Fall Metal Fest III is something that everyone involved with really takes pride in, and strives to make an awesome, one of a kind local music event!" explains Deluxxe Entertainment's Harold "Howie" Herula.  "Metal and Hard Rock are typically underrepresented commercially - especially locally.  This is a great opportunity for music fans to see some of the best local bands in these genres" adds Lucky Monkey Tattoo's Dana Forrester.

With a line-up featuring seven of Detroit's heaviest rock groups - Fall Metal Fest III offers up metal-laden music sure to fill the Emerald Theatre's mosh pit.  Performing artists for this year include (in order of appearance):

 

Execrate: Hot up and coming dark edged metal band based in Lapeer, Michigan. These guys are a great example of young Michigan metal at it's finest

Sordid Circle: Based in Detroit, Michigan, Sordid Circle is a newer band that combines all the elements of metal and puts them together for a new, exciting, original sound. They consider themselves the new wave of Detroit blender metal.  facebook.com/sordidcircle 

Ictus: Dark experimental hard rock band that features ex-members of Woden and Inkvine. Ictus is in the process of working on what will be their debut recording and they’ll be putting out a disc sometime in the very near future. .facebook.com/ictus.detroit

Redfield Burning: Riff heavy rock fused with powerfully melodic vocals and an intense live show. Redfield Burning has just released their debut EP this past September.  reverbnation.com/redfieldburning

Mound Road Engine: Female-fronted, and heavy as hell, Mound Road Engine were nominated for "Outstanding Hard Rock and Metal Act" in the 2011 Detroit Music Awards and have shared stages with national acts including Otep, Prong and Mushroomhead. Hell Rides North: Hell Rides North blazed out of Detroit with metal laden fury!   Opening for many national acts, notably Drowning Pool, Wednesday 13, In This Moment, and Kittie, Hell Ride North are a dominate force on the local scene.   The band was crowned the winner of 89x's 2010 $10,000 Battle of the Bands and are currently finishing up a new CD. .reverbnation.com/hellridesnorth

Chaos Theory: In their 4 years together, Chaos Theory has become one of the biggest and most popular hard rock/metal bands in the Metro Detroit area.
