HELLBENT Debuts at Detroit's Russell Industrial Center

Public Invited to Party Inside Historical Warehouse featuring 10,000 Square Feet of Freakishly Fun Halloween Horrors on Saturday Oct. 23

The 1st Annual HellBent Halloween Party is on Saturday October 23 at the Russell Industrial Center (1600 Clay Avenue) in Detroit. This spine-tingling bash is located inside a 10,000 square foot warehouse on the fifth floor of building one. Doors are at 9 p.m. and ages 21 and over are welcome to attend. Tickets are just $15 in advance on Neptix (www.neptix.com) and $20 at the door. Ticket prices include two complimentary alcoholic beverages plus free Nikki's pizza at Midnight! Advance ticket purchasers will be entered into a drawing to win cool prizes from Zodiac Vodka, Lucky Monkey Tattoo and more! Costumes are strongly encouraged but not required for attendance.

With over 10,000 square feet of hair-raising thrills and chills including music by electro skele-shakers Haf/Life, indie angst rocker Troy Gregory, and DJ D. Deadly, HellBent promises to inspire even the stiffest corpses to dance! HellBent will also invoke spellbinding performances by the Detroit Circus and hot Monster a Go Go pole dancers from PoleFit Revolution. But wait – there's more! Deranged puppeteers The Gepetto Files will bust out their manic marionettes providing frightful fun along with snake charmer Shetan Noir, spooky stilt walker "The Doctor", a freaky fortuneteller (courtesy of Zodiac Vodka) and bloodthirsty burlesque Hells Belles Girlie Revue's Miss Laurel Pleasures plus other terrifying temptresses. Want to repent for your sins? Partygoers will be invited to "bend over" for spankings by Hellbent's demonic dominatrix's!

About the space: Designed by legendary architect Albert Kahn, the Russell Industrial Center is nearly a hundred years old – providing the perfect spooky backdrop for HellBent. During World War II the Russell was used as a center for building airplanes, and later became the hub of Detroit's printing industry. Recognized today as the creative hub of Detroit's artistic renaissance "The Russell" is home to over 125 commercial tenants representing a full spectrum of creative activity. Recently, the Russell has been an in-demand location for the film industry – hosting production facilities and serving as a location for major feature movies including "Transformers", and a recent Eminem video. Partygoers will take a spooky ride up an old freight elevator (operated by a demon, of course!) and will be able to experience some of the amazing artwork inside the party space that is indicative of the creative minds of the Russell tenants. Freakishly fun Halloween décor will be provided by two professional design teams who will be competing for a cash prize and voted upon by attendees!

The first annual HellBent is sponsored by On the Rocks Detroit, Russell Industrial Center, Real Detroit Weekly, PoleFit Revolution, Nikki's Pizza, Zodiac Vodka and Lucky Monkey Tattoo.
