If suddenly you feel uneasy, nervous, excited, it’s probably the electricity in the air created by Dismantle’s upcoming, “Live & Loaded” CD/DVD Release Party this Friday, June 17th at New York New York in New Baltimore! For all you Dismantle junkies (we are similarly afflicted) the wait has been long and difficult, but the boys are back and ready to blow the roof off the place this weekend. The 12-track recording was captured this past year at the first, nearly annual, Dismantlefest that attracted 1000 beer-soaked, sunburned, rockaholics to the shores of Lake St. Clair for a day of, the aforementioned, beer, sunshine and “More Rock-n-Roll”. The day featured many bands, all awesome, with Dismantle bringing the night to an incredible close with a set that featured a mix of songs from their first CD as well as a few of the new tracks from their upcoming release(Fall, 2011). We at DR2 got an advanced copy of the disc and it perfectly captures the decibels, destruction, and debauchery that are the hallmarks of a Dismantle show. As a bonus, the band will have special guests No Justus and Switchline joining them to amp up the excitement Friday night. So if you are a diehard fan we know where you will be this weekend and if you have never experienced a “Dismantlefest” then we have just given you fair warning, get out Friday and be at this event. Oh, and one other detail, did we mention, NO COVER!! That’s right, save your money for the drink specials and come out and get “Dismantled”!! See you there….
